This participatory workshop meets once and is open to all levels. It explores the basic fundamentals of jazz singing in a safe and fun setting and is limited to 8 students. Great opportunity for singers who either want some basic knowledge and experience, or brush up their skills. Live music is provided. **Length: 3 hours **Suggested level of expertise: beginner and advanced beginner, ages teen through adult. Cost: $35.

Presenting World War Two songs and stories in conjunction with Veteran’s Day, made possible by a grant from the Office of Cultural Affairs. This hour long music program with a 15 minute Q & A afterward will be a journey through time, featuring popular songs from WW2 with vocals, piano and upright bass accompaniment. Special guest Ray Puddicomb, an elder WW2 veteran and actor, will be speaking about his wartime experiences and displaying his memorabilia. Mr. Puddicomb is a Seattle resident who served as a soldier on the German Front during the Rhineland Campaign of 1944. This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to view a rare and extensive personal collection from the WW II era.
